Award winning artists Tom and Kathy Fisher welcome you to Porcelain Jewelry Etc. We are a small family business, located in Bozeman, Montana. Together we have over 30 years experience developing techniques for glazing with natural ingredients. Our refinements produce colorful, extremely lightweight and durable porcelain with a unique iridescence. Chameleon-like, each piece picks up the colors of the clothing you wear. Every creation is hand-shaped of simple, white porcelain clay, mixed with an array of natural elements, then fermented. The porcelain is kiln fired to 2400 degrees. This extremely high temperature makes the porcelain light as a feather and exceptionally strong. Our exotic color combinations are produced by adding one shade at a time and firing the porcelain between each color layer. Coatings of precious metals such as gold, silver, and copper create imaginative custom glazes. Each piece has a translucency and depth available only in our custom crafted jewelry.
